ScreenwritingU Alum JoAnn Hess (ProSeries 43, MSC 3) was hired to rewrite the original screenplay, THE YIN YANG AND THE TREASURE, a family/fantasy film.

JoAnn will be working closely with both the original writer Andre Eichstedt from Germany, and the film’s director Tom Delmar.

The project is scheduled to be filmed this year in the UK and centers around two martial arts training castles. JoAnn’s experience as a 2nd degree black belt and knowledge of martial arts films will be a key asset to the story.

JoAnn was recommended for the project by executive producer Amy Clare Beales, who is producing JoAnn’s original screenplay FAKERS, and was quickly approved by Tom Delmar who had also worked with her on that project.

JoAnne has written six scripts for hire through JC Pictures and was hired by Natasha Markou at London Production Studios to write the TV pilot/bible for STAR QUEST, a TorinoFilmLab 2018 selection.
