The anti-Bullying drama CONTEST, written and directed by ScreenwritingU Alum Anthony Giunta (Proseries 31), was picked up by Cartoon Network.

Howard T. Alter and Steven N. Lerner produced the film which Anthony wrote and directed.  The movie includes many on-the-rise stars.  Among them are Kenton Duty (Shake It Up), Katherine McNamara (Madison High) and Dan Flaherty (Skins), Kyle Dean Massey (Hart of Dixie), Mary Beth Peil (Dawson's Creek), Chris Riggi (Gossip Girl), Owen Teague (Malibu Country) and Raviv Ullman (Phil of the Future).

CONTEST will be shown “on demand” at Cartoon Network through the month of October for National Bullying Prevention Month and released in DVD/Blu-ray just before Christmas.

The film won the Audience Award for Children's Film division at Mill Valley Film Festival and has a Facebook Fan Page of over 330 K.
