Screenwriter Germaine de Pibrac James (ProSeries 10) has been hired by a Los Angeles production company to adapt a popular book into a screenplay. The budget is currently set at $10 million.
Details on this one are confidential while the production company brings in other elements (actors and a director). But Germaine was on a short list of professional screenwriters who presented “takes” to the producer. Germaine nailed the essence of the main character and plot, and scored the job.
