Peter Symons (PS 24) had his screenplay DEATH ZONE optioned by Patricia Harris-Seeley of Ageless Pictures a production company based in Vancouver, B.C.  

Actor Kristopher Van Varenberg, son of Belgium actor Jean-Claude Van Damme, is attached to the survival horror script set on iconic Mount Everest.

A potential production location is Steward, British Columbia, on the same glacier where John Carpenter shot The Thing in 1982. Another is Base Camp, Mount Everest.

The film is currently in development.
