ScreenwritingU Alum Frances Presley-Rice (ProSeries 32, MSC 2) has teamed with Producer Bayer L. Mack of Block Starz Music Television as an Executive Producer, along with Hal Croasmum, to produce a documentary on Oscar Micheaux.

Micheaux (1884-1951) was the first major African-American feature filmmaker.   He was the most successful black filmmaker of the first half of the twentieth century and the most prominent producer of films about African-Americans.
