ScreenwritingU Alum Don Macnab-Stark (ProSeries 6) has been hired by Sean Ramsey of FAFP Hong Kong to rewrite the thriller, "Escape from Ziastan".

The screenplay is based on a novel published in China.  It tells of a war correspondent's kidnap and escape in war-torn Afghanistan.  There is already strong interest from several Chinese production companies.

Don has had many screenplay options and writing assignments, including the script for "Poppy's Fields", which involves Benedict Cumberbatch.  Read more about that project, here.
