ScreenwritingU Alum Bonnie Maffei  (ProSeries 48) recently signed a deal with producer Michael Bloom of Solaris Entertainment Media to adapt a short story into a screenplay.

Singer songwriter, Paul Overstreet is the author of the short story. His songs were featured in movies like "Nottinghill" and "The Thing Called Love".
