Independent producer Yolanda Parks of Kamali Films has hired ScreenwritingU Alum Richard Willett to write a screenplay based a true story for which she has optioned life rights.

Previous to this success Richard had his screenplay 9/10 optioned by David Kassin Fried who is also a ScreenwritingU alum.

Both projects are currently in development.
