  Screenwriter Etta Worthington (ProSeries 25) has been hired  to write a screenplay for Reel Now Films, the production company of Director Kevin Dalvi and Producer Shahzad Chaudhary.  The feature will be shot in Chicago later this year. Karen connected with Victoria Slater through Virtual Pitch Fest, where she pitched her script and found that Victoria is a good match for the project. Screenwriter Marla Hayes (ProSeries 6) has sold the rights to her short film, “PUSH.”  The purchase was for non-exclusive rights and Marla was represented by her sales agent Ouat Media. Last year, the script won the Grand Prize in the “From the Heart” Film Festival and Marla was commissioned by the North Bay Symphony Orchestra

Screenwriter Adrian Havens (ProSeries 29) signed an agreement to write the pilot for an animated series. The project is being done by Crescent Fawn Studios and is based upon characters of the Pinkerton’s National Detective Agency during the middle 19th century.  Excellent work, Adrian!

Screenwriter Clark Ransom (ProSeries 20) just signed with the Whitt Brantley Management and Talent: A Literary, Film and Television Agency to represent his comedy script, “On Becoming Grim.” Whitt Brantley has represented other screenwriters on movies ranging from $5 to $20 million in budget.  The agreement was signed after Clark got 18 requests for his script from

  Screenwriter Lynn Dickinson (ProSeries 18) signed with New York literary agent Louise Fury, of the L. Perkins agency, to represent the book “Brother Haters Anonymous.”  This occurred after a wild July 4th weekend where Lynn submitted the manuscript on Saturday night, had it read on Sunday, and had an exclusive agreement by Monday afternoon.
