Screenwriter Roger Oliphant (ProSeries 14) had his romantic comedy screenplay optioned by DKZ Films. The script, titled BALD KNOB, was written the ProSeries. Producer David Kohner Zuckerman of DKZ Films read the screenplay, and suggested changes, which Roger made. Shortly thereafter, David offered Roger an option agreement.
