Feb. 3, 2013: Marie D. Jones Lands Representation and Two Options!

Screenwriter Marie Jones (ProSeries 38) and her partner, Larry Flaxman, just optioned two projects to Bruce Lucas Films, 19 HZ and AURORA. Laree’ D. Griffith (ProSeries 26) was one of the writers on the movie HALLOWEEN PARTY that just qualified for an Academy Award for Best Original Song. The announcement came out yesterday, after producer Linda Palmerspearheaded an innovative marketing campaign to get the movie considered for a possible Academy Award.  The song “Voodoo” was written and performed by Nashville songwriters CJ Watson
