Understanding Faith is a book written by Amber Steele, a high school student and provides a unique perspective on teen dating violence. Our favorite screenwriter from Kazakhstan, Rose Gumarova (ProSeries 3), has sold a tv-movie script to an Ukrainian company “TV-channel STB.” After receiving notes, she re-wrote the script successfully and the project is in pre-production. We are very proud of you, Rose.
Evelyn Roberts Brooks (ProSeries 6) was approached by a L.A. producer to do a writing assignment. Evelyn is writing the family comedy and it will go to the Networks very soon. Got to love those deadlines! Way to go, Evelyn. I always believed in you.
Writer-director Douglas Horn (ProSeries 3) had his first feature film, ENTRY LEVEL, acquired for US distribution by Porchlight Entertainment. Zoran Pandurovic (ProSeries 11) has been contracted by Katha Films to do a writing assignment. Zoran responded to a script request that came through the ProSeries Alumni.
