ScreenwritingU Alum Phillip Mitchell ( ProSeries 43) has his screenplay optioned by Producer Lloyd Bateman of Feral Child Productions LLC.

Lloyd was previously attached as director to one of Phillip’s screenplays. When it came time to look for a new project to develop, he contacted Phillip to see what other scripts he might have available. He read Phillip’s horror flick “Westhaven” and optioned it.

The project is currently in the re-write phase.
