ScreenwritingU Alum Scotty Cornfield (ProSeries 37) has been hired by UK-based director Cyrus Trafford and producer Ryan Hamilton of Arclight Films to write a treatment and screenplay for a feature film about a gang member in an American prison.

Scotty responded to director Cyrus Trafford’s Linkedin advertisement about the film and offered his expertise as a former homicide detective who worked some gang homicides in the past.  He soon met with the producer Ryan Hamilton (Arclight Films) and a deal was struck.

The project will be presented at Cannes to seek funding for the film.
