ScreenwritingU Alum  Ann Kimbrough (ProSeries 21) lands writing assignment with producer Shahrook Oomer of Media Distribution Partners.

Shahrook's producing credits include "7 Seconds" starring Wesley Snipes, "Black Dawn" starring Steven Seagal, and "The Chosen One" starring Rob Schneider and Steve Buschemi.

This project is an action/thriller currently titled LOCKDOWN and is based on Ann’s original concept.  The two met at the InkTip Pitch Summit.  Impressed by Ann’s one-page pitch for an action script, the producer contacted her to develop a screenplay that would fit his budget and story requirements.  Naturally, Ann came through and wrote the script, which has been approved, sending the project into pre-production.
