Screenwriter Joan Macbeth (ProSeries 37) has been attached by producer Michael Gruskoff (My Favorite Year, Young Frankenstein, Quest for Fire) to adapt Jennie Shortridge's best-selling novel, "When She Flew," into a screenplay.

The book "When She Flew" is a best seller and was inspired by true events.  It follows the story of a by-the-book policewoman who breaks all the rules when she reunites a PTSD Iraq war vet with his 13-year-old daughter.
